Check Cap

Quality control on bottle caps

Industrial artificial vision system that enables quality control of container caps or lids, thereby guaranteeing product integrity.

Bottling Bottling

Applications

Cap/closure control

Product integrity

Check Cap is a device specially designed for quality control of stoppers, caps and capsules on conveyor belts.

The system is intended for inspection of:

The Check Cap inspection system is available in versions for inspecting cork/plastic caps on glass bottles, inspecting capsules (pilfer) on glass bottles, inspecting caps for PET bottles and inspecting lids for jars. The system is capable of combining different inspections in the same equipment.

It can be installed with different ejection options, impact ejector, progressive ejector, drag paddle ejector or deflector to ensure perfect rejection of defective bottles/jars.

Benefits

Traceability

Automatic fault recording for analysis and continuous improvement.

Adaptability

Adaptable to different packaging formats and closure types.

Optimisation

Inspection on the production line without stopping the flow of bottles or jars.

Unsupervised Neural Networks

Our solution works with Unsupervised Neural Networks, simplifying programming by eliminating the need to manually label good and bad images. The system trains itself using samples of ‘good’ products, learning the pattern of normality and automatically discarding ‘bad’ pieces.
